• In this P3 People Podcast, Ryan Stolley of the Utah Climate Action Network explains his approach to tackling the topic of climate change in a predominantly conservative state.
• This week, Salt Lake City published a plan titled “Climate Positive 2040” in which the city promises to combat climate change and carbon pollution.
• Leaders from the City of Portland, OR and Multnomah County have committed to moving to 100 percent renewable energy by 2050.
• Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced that city-owned buildings will shift to 100 percent renewable energy by 2025 – the largest U.S. city to make such a pledge.
• “What if you’re wrong about climate change?” This question has been proven to change the minds of skeptics – and on Fox News Sunday, anchor Chris Wallace posed it to EPA Chief Scott Pruitt.
