As President and Founder of Crabtree + Company, Lucinda Crabtree oversees a firm frequently called upon to craft everything from museum exhibits to school posters explaining the challenges of science and the fragility of nature. Her clients include The World Bank, NASA, Conservation International, The Global Fund and the Carnegie Institution for Science.

To celebrate 25 years in business, Lucinda directed an accelerated program to make C+C an even more environmentally responsible firm, culminating in the firm becoming carbon-neutral in 2009.

Lucinda has served on the Board of Directors for Discovery Creek Children’s Museum and is actively involved in promoting children’s health, education and scientific literary, and is a national judge in the FIRST high school robotics competition.

Lucinda was invited to join the Business Council of the U.S. Conference of Mayors as its only small business representative. She led the Business Council’s Steering Committee for two years, and as a consequence enjoys the support of many of the nation’s leading mayors.

She has been honored by the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington with its Lifetime Achievement Award, given in recognition of her firm’s success and her personal commitment to volunteering for community projects.

In April, 2015 Lucinda’s firm will celebrate 32 years of creative excellence and community involvement.
